Pawsitively Spoiled has proudly served the Kokomo community for more than 35 years, providing trusted, loving care to pets and peace of mind to the families who love them. Over the years, we have had the privilege of caring for pets in more than 1,000 homes throughout our community. We are fully insured and bonded, and every member of our team is not only an animal lover but also has completed background checks for your added peace of mind.
We are Rod and Jodi Ruch, owners of Pawsitively Spoiled since 2020. Married since May 18, 1991, we know the importance of family, trust, and dependable care. Rod was born and raised in Kokomo, and Jodi was born and raised in Elkhart before making Kokomo her home in 1990. Our family includes our daughter, Taylor, a labor and delivery nurse, her husband, Wesley, and our two grandchildren, Emeline and Welles, who live in Ohio. Our son, Colan, is a civil engineer and lives in Oregon with his significant other, Natalie. Our bonus son, Joey, is a software QA engineer, his fiancée, Hope, and our bonus grandchildren, Harrison and Audrey, live in Kokomo.
The Ruch family has long been a part of the Kokomo community. Rod’s father, Larry Ruch, was a respected biology teacher at Kokomo High School who also served as the head coach of varsity football and track, leaving a lasting impact on generations of students and athletes. At home, our own furry family keeps us busy and entertained: two mini goldendoodles, Vinnie and Norie, and three cats, Gus, Jax, and Bo. Animals have always been a big part of our lives, and that love is at the heart of everything we do. When we are not caring for pets, we enjoy spending time with family and friends, French press coffee, relaxing by the pool, golfing, working out, traveling to see family or to the beach, and making the most of everyday moments. We are also incredibly grateful for our exceptional team of pet sitters. Their kindness, reliability, and genuine love for animals allow us to provide the very best care for pets across Kokomo and the surrounding community.
Our Services
Pawsitively Spoiled is proud to be Kokomo’s premier in-home pet sitting service, caring for your pets in the comfort of their own home while you are away. Whether you are working a long day, heading out for vacation, taking a weekend trip, or dealing with an emergency, we are here to help.
Each standard visit is approximately 15–20 minutes and is designed around your pet’s needs. Extended 30-minute visits are also available for pets who need a little extra time, attention, or care. We care for animals of all kinds, including dogs, cats, birds, fish, rabbits, reptiles, rodents, and more. Over the years, we have also cared for donkeys, mules, horses, chickens, ducks, peacocks and tortoises. No matter the size, species, or personality, we believe every animal deserves patient, attentive, and compassionate care. We also offer house-check services for families who do not have pets but need a helping hand while they are away. We can collect mail and packages, water flowers, alternate lights on, check on your home, and help make sure everything looks cared for until you return.
At Pawsitively Spoiled, we treat every pet and every home with the same care and respect we would want for our own. Your pets stay comfortable, your home stays cared for, and you can enjoy your time away with peace of mind.
We can be reached at 765-860-5983 by call or text, or by email at PawsitivelySpoiledRJTC@gmail.com.
